The Legacy of Tomorrow (LOT)

Is a registered non-governmental organization with registration number 1234567899 under the non-governmental organizations act no. 24 of 2002 as amended from time to time in Tanzania that operates at national level.

Our organization seeks to overcome the struggles of children’s who are left behind, unheard, and unsupported leading them into drugs, crimes and emotional distress while our main focus is children’s right we still stand with all community groups such as girls, women, youth and vulnerable groups.

We also believe that protecting the planet goes hand in hand with protecting people and that true climate action must also mean equity, dignity and justice hence as part of our mission we create partnerships for change, awareness and education plus advocate for policies that advance climate justice in our communities through our programs.

Mission

To empower the community, advocate for climate justice, and rehabilitate children who have been harassed and marginalized in Tanzanian society.

Vision

A Tanzanian society where individuals, children are rehabilitated, empowered, and given equal opportunities to thrive, with their rights protected and voices heard.

Objectives

To facilitate the provision of educational, social, and rehabilitative support to young boys facing societal challenges such as poverty, violence, discrimination, and harassment so as to help them overcome past trauma, empower them, and transform them into productive individuals who can positively contribute to society.

Promote Climate Justice:

To raise awareness about the impacts of climate change on vulnerable communities in Tanzania and advocate for effective policies and practices to address these challenges.

To empower the Community:

To improve access to education, healthcare, economic opportunities, and social justice for the community, particularly women, children, and disabled persons.

Advocate for Social Equality:

To work towards gender equality, youth empowerment, and the eradication of poverty, injustice and inequality.
